The reference 228235 stands for the modern Day-Date 40 in Everose gold, Rolex's exclusive rose gold alloy, which is particularly resistant to discoloration. This reference replaced the classic Day-Date 36 as the main model in 2015 and set new standards with 40 mm, the caliber 3255 and improved accuracy. The caliber 3255 is considered one of the most precise automatic movements in the industry. The 228235 with a white dial is one of the most classic combinations within the reference.
